InnoPen is a medical and FDA approved collagen induction therapy, resulting in vibrant, healthy, and youthful looking skin for those suffering from acne, melasma, fine lines, wrinkles and other skin conditions.
At Derm.ca Laser and Esthetics, we set the bar high in choosing the technology we use to ensure that our patients receive the safest and most effective treatments available. Every device must be of medical-grade quality, have scientifically proven results, and be considered the gold standard in its category.
The InnoPen treatment, with its revolutionary InnoTip technology, is such a device. We are proud to help patients reverse signs of aging in the eye area, upper lip, neck, and chest with the InnoPen Microneedling treatment.
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or Mesotherapy, is a cosmetic procedure that uses tiny needles to puncture the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. These two naturally occurring proteins enhance your appearance by restoring structure and elasticity to the skin.
InnoPen is the world’s safest and most technologically advanced microneedling device. Compared with other microneedling tools, the InnoPen delivers results that are second to none.
InnoPen also creates micro channels in the skin that allow for greater penetration and absorption of nutrient-rich serums such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, growth factors, vitamins, minerals, PRP and amino acids.
The InnoPen treatment usually takes an hour or less. Although it is minimally invasive, we often apply a numbing cream to alleviate any potential pain or discomfort.
During the procedure, one of our medically trained InnoPen specialists will set the device to the desired needle depth and move it over the area to be treated.
The InnoPen lightly stamps the skin, puncturing into the second layer, or epidermis. The procedures triggers a repair response, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin.
Most patients see results shortly after the first treatment, as the healing process triggered by the production of new collagen and elastin begins to take effect. It may take a full month to see full results from one treatment.
Most patients require 3 – 4 treatment sessions, depending on the type and severity of the skin condition being treated, to achieve optimal, long-lasting results.
Because the InnoPen microneedling treatment stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin, results can last for many years. We recommend annual maintenance session to ensure continued results.
After treatment, you can resume most regular activities, but we recommend refraining from any intensive physical activities for approximately 24 hours.
For the first couple of hours, you may experience mild redness and swelling. These are normal and will disappear fairly quickly. After the treatment, do NOT wash your face for approximately two hours. Keep using the hydrating serum on the tiny holes created by the InnoPen for deeper penetration.

“The best decision I ever made. Thanks to Ildiko and her team I now have my confidence back. I can’t tell you how stressful it was going into a social situation with the fear of breaking out into a heavy sweat. I recommend miraDry treatment to anyone who wants to eliminate sweat and odor in the underarm area.”
