Exfoliation is an important part of healthy skin renewal. By removing accumulated dead skin cells from the surface, controlled exfoliation can help improve the appearance of skin texture, smoothness and radiance.

While research specific to DermaSweep is still developing, clinical research on related exfoliation technologies supports the benefits of controlled exfoliation for photoaged skin. A randomized split-face clinical trial of microdermabrasion found improvements in the appearance of fine lines, skin texture and overall complexion after a series of six treatments.
